24" x 66" is a clean standard-size starting point for a interior prehung door order. This page exists so a shopper can start from a common size, keep the route highly relevant to the measurement they searched, and still move into quarter-inch custom sizing if the opening is close but not exact.
When 24" x 66" makes sense
At 24" wide, this sits on the narrower end of the matrix and is often relevant when a project has a tighter existing opening or a replacement condition that does not want to be widened. The 66" height is usually associated with shorter or altered openings where a normal full-height stock unit is not the right assumption. If your opening measures right on 24" x 66", this page is the fastest path. If the job lands slightly off that number, use this page as the starting point and then switch to custom quarter-inch sizing inside the configurator instead of forcing the opening into the wrong stock dimensions.
